CERAMCO, INC. EXPANDS E-COMMERCE FASTENER PORTAL AVAILABILITY TO THE GLOBAL MARKETPLACE

Ceramco, Inc. (Center Conway, New Hampshire) announces it has expanded the 24/7 availability of its e-commerce portal: https://www.ceramicfasteners.com from U.S. only to the global* marketplace. Orders received before noon Eastern Standard Time (M-F) ship same day.

All major credit cards accepted. Purchase orders accepted from Ceramco customers with established credit. Orders ship via United Parcel Service, with options dependent upon the order’s destination. Buyers outside the U.S. are responsible for all tariffs, taxes, and customs fees at time of delivery.

Now users of solid ceramic machine screws, bolts, flat washers and hex nuts, outside the U.S., can select from a comprehensive inventory of solid ceramic flat, pan, hex or cap head styles, in either Phillips, slotted or socket as is applicable, in both U.S. inch standard and metric sizes. Most styles and sizes available in either alumina or zirconia.

Fastener sizes range from: #0-80 to 3/8″-16 (U.S. inch) and M2 to M8 (metric). Flat washer sizes range from: #0 to 1” (U.S. inch) and M2 to M20 (metric). Available compositions, sizes and lengths vary and may be dependent upon material properties and performance characteristics. Most recently Ceramco added British Standard washers in sizes: M2, M3, M4, M5, M6 and M8.

These fasteners are intended for scientific instruments, laser chambers, medical devices, fuel cell stacks, and other industrial applications in which metal alloy fasteners or plastic fasteners fail, or simply do not possess the properties demanded by the harsh environments in which they must perform. They are resistant to heat and corrosion, are non-conductive, can provide leak free connections, hold a vacuum  and are non-out-gassing.

All Ceramco’s ceramic fasteners are 100% net shaped in solid ceramic and then fired to full density. Ceramco stock ceramic fasteners are never machined or fatigued from harsh grinding.

All Ceramco’s solid ceramic fasteners are made in America, in Center Conway NH following ISO 9001-2015 quality standards. Ceramco is also ITAR registered.

* Excluding those countries embargoed by the U.S. Government.

CERAMCO, INC. ACHIEVES ISO 9001:2015 CERTIFICATION

Ceramco customers benefit from an even more comprehensive
quality management system.

In the manufacturing of custom ceramic components, the first three considerations are: Quality; Delivery; and Customer Service. Ceramco’s ISO 9001:2015 management system certification is the foundation upon which we assure the necessary standards are met for us to deliver on these promises. Ceramco re-certification from 9001:2008 to the newer 9008:2015 standard was completed this month.

ISO 9001:2015 is easier to use in conjunction with other management system standards. It places significantly higher requirements on Ceramco than the previous version of the standard. Changes include a greater focus upon both risk assessment and the customer’s perspective. Ceramco’s audit was performed and certified by CIC Management, LLC, located in Salem, New Hampshire, USA.

“If improving your management system also results in improved customer satisfaction, why then wouldn’t a company pursue it?” said Thomas Henriksen, Ceramco’s President. “The ISO 9001:2015 certification assures the necessary management system is in place, so that later we can reap its benefits in production. It is a ‘win-win’ situation for both Ceramco and its customers and it doesn’t end there. Ceramco wants to know if we delivered on our promises and (if we didn’t) what we can do to improve. Customers are encouraged to provide their feedback via our website.”

CERAMCO, INC. & ZIRCOA GMBH REACH DISTRIBUTORSHIP AGREEMENT

Zircoa GmbH Becomes Distributor to EMEA of Ceramco’s Custom Technical Ceramic Components and Stock Ceramic Fasteners

Wiesbaden Germany, July 28, 2014 – Thomas Böhm, Managing Director, Zircoa GmbH and Thomas Henriksen, President/CEO, Ceramco, Inc., sign distributorship agreement, effective: September 4, 2014.

“Germany is a friendly trading partner of the United States and is centrally located in the EMEA marketplace,” said: Thomas Henriksen. “Zircoa GmbH are experts in application technology and are highly skilled in supply chain management. Ceramco’s partnering with Zircoa GmbH is an efficient and logical means of delivering Ceramco’s U.S. made custom ceramic components and stock ceramic fasteners to so many different countries, with their unique languages and currencies,” added Thomas Henriksen.

As Ceramco, Inc. accepts payment only in U.S. Dollars, EMEA customers (prior to this agreement) were subject not only to currency exchange rates, but duty fees in addition to the cost of shipping. The distributorship agreement with Zircoa GmbH simplifies these financial considerations and (in many cases) may actually save the EMEA marketplace some of the associated costs they would have otherwise paid in order to purchase Ceramco products.

The Ceramco and Zircoa GmbH agreement includes products made from alumina, zirconia, as well as Ceramco’s refractory ceramics. Marketing efforts initially focus upon Ceramco’s TGA (Thermogravimetric analysis) crucibles (see photo) and other crucible types, and distribution of Ceramco’s stock ceramic fasteners. Zircoa GmbH will also accept RFQs (request for quotation) for Ceramco’s custom components on their behalf.

Going forward all inquiries Ceramco receives from EMEA countries will be referred to Zircoa GmbH for the more immediate and personalized follow-up. Long term, Zircoa GmbH plans to inventory Ceramco’s stock ceramic fasteners, providing even faster and more efficient order processing for their EMEA customers.
