Overview:
We are seeking a Maintenance Service Technician to join our team! You will perform routine and preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment, and help upkeep the facilities and property. Training specific to our equipment will be provided. You will interact with our Production team and Office team regularly.
Responsibilities:
- Manage orders for maintenance supplies or stock items
- Handle inbound calls and make outbound calls, to vendors and suppliers, while maintaining a positive, professional attitude
- Keep up with scheduled maintenance to support uptime with all Ceramco processes and production lines
- Provide prompt, complete repairs
- Provide daily support to Production team and avoid downtime
- Maintain all company assets
- Occasional travel locally, or further distance in special cases
- Communicate with company departments and join meetings, as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in maintenance of mechanical and/or electrical manufacturing equipment
- Strong diagnostic skills
- Lock out/tag out procedures
- Fork lift operation
- Experience with digital process controllers, installation and calibration
- Experience working in a small business, manufacturing environment
- Capable of physically lifting items, and doing hands-on repair work
Education Requirements:
- Vocational school, or equivalent on-the-job training
Experience Requirements:
- 1 to 3 years related experience required
Base Salary:
- $25 USD Hourly
Working Hours:
- 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
