Ceramco, Inc.
Manufacturing OEM Ceramic Parts of Complex Geometries
Producing a finished ceramic part quickly and efficiently requires processes yielding
shapes requiring little or no grinding or machining after their forming and firing. To achieve
this Ceramco combines the manufacturing technique:
near-net shaping and the process methods of power injection molding (PIM). These methods are
described below.
Forming Process Methods
LPIM
Low Pressure Ceramic Injection Molding -
Near-net shaped production
quantities* of 100 to 10,000 pieces annually.

HPIM
High Pressure Ceramic Injection Molding -
Near-net shaped automated
production quantities* of 50,000 (or more) annually.
